No entity and every entity has equal rights to name anything.

I personally have just renamed your star to "IMHO is a retard" and that name has equal standing with the name you purchased. In fact I suspect in a survey of Outposters you'd find my name actually has more standing.

If you want to change the name of the star I suggest you simply announce that you have changed the name of the star.

Nobody on Earth has any more 'right' than anyone else to name anything in space they haven't been physically on.


Just sell the 'star name' title to someone with the same name.
