2. Make so a person can get insurance offered in another state.

That will do nothing for affordability. There will be one state (or maybe a group of two or three states) that pass health insurances laws that are most favorable to the health insurance companies (likely by "lobbying" those few legislators, and hey, moving the headquarters there will bring a bunch of jobs to whichever state "wins" here), and all the the big player health insurances companies will close up shop everywhere except for there. So everyone will be stuck playing by the health care rules that the majority don't have any representation with those who write the rules.

3. Cap lawyer fees and limit class action suits.

There is more but those three would fix the majority of the problems with cost and affordability. None of these are in the Obama bill. The Obama bill is about power and control, not healthcare.

You're old and stupid. Old and stupid.

Point 1 - Not sure what you mean.

Point 2 - This was for the insurance companies. I agree with this point.

Point 3 - Cap lawyer fees should be applied to all lawsuits. Limiting class action suits would just drive more people to sue individually. Most class action lawsuits only make the lawyers big money. The injured party often only gets a fraction of what they might deserve.

As for power and control, I agree that if the original bill, with single payer and other components, was passed it would have been much better. The power and control can from the GOP's crippling the bill. In any case, there are still good parts of the bill. There are not about 400,000 21 - 26 year olds that are now covered by insurance that were not.

I guess the fact that what he posted was correct means that you're the dumbass who doesn't want to change the system for the bettter then.

Your new "conservative" alignment is duly noted.

1. Depending on what you mean, I think I agree

2. People already can.

3. Lawyer's fees are capped. Class action suits are often the only means to bring accountability.
