What I learned from MLG Barcraft SC2 live..

First of all you and your friends will munch down on a three course dinner because you all know you're there for 6h's
You will all get horrendously drunk by the 4th hour..
The few girls who are single in the restaurant will flock to your table, because it's mostly made up of dudes in suits who are not slobs.
The real nerds are sorted from the posers when they actually starts to pay more attention to the girls then the games..
You're one of those nerds that left your GF at home because you wanted a bro's night of SC2 and beer..
Barcraft is a total failure, only bring dudes who are not single...

Willingly watching somebody else play a video game is something I'll never understand. I get angry when I watch other people play games. "O.K. HURRY UP IT'S MY TURN GODDAMNIT!"

Rather or not it is a sport isn't the point, you watch it for the same reason you watch sports.
I actually find video games (the few interesting ones) more engaging than your average sporting event because I understand what is going on at a very nuanced level and can turn around and put what I see in to practice myself.
