8 days. we're running this trip with soviel style efficiency. just cramming a nice trip in before we're locked down with the birth of kid #2 in july.

the 2 yr old is staying home with grandma. wife is only 25 weeks so she'll be fine.
it'll be a good break. get to sleep a little bit before i don't sleep again for god knows how long.

The Kindle Fire is a nice reader/Amazon shopper. Amazon tried to catch the tablet wave and market the Fire as a real tablet, but, it isn't. It appears to be very good at what it is originally designed to do, but, mediocre at its expanded scope.

Well, that's a concern for me. I was considering doing a week's vacation in Tuscany in September. It's a cooking vacation which is why Tuscany specifically has been selected. Is it that bad? (Never been to Italy)
