For all the bitching you guys do about pain, remember that the stuff women go through not to have kids can be painful, too. Getting your tubes tied, IUD, etc. are not exactly pain-free procedures in happy places either.

True enough. It's not a substitute for female birth control, because men are way too unreliable, but it might be a good way to protect yourself as a male if you're dating psycho women.

The thing is, if the man screws up, he doesn't get pregnant. The woman does.
You should never trust someone else with your birth control. I suppose that goes both ways and so both parties should get it done. But ultimately the person who's actually the one who's going to get pregnant naturally is going to be in a better position.
If you want to trust a man to make sure you don't get pregnant go for it but that strikes me as an awful stupid thing to do.

A card in your wallet with the date of your injection is a pretty easy thing to carry. Takes less space than a condom.
