Guess I'll be buying a PS3 and stopping there.
I only have a few titles, which I'm still running on my PS2.
If they stop used/older titles, then yeah. No more consoles for me. It's not worth it, I'd lose like 75% of my inventory. I don't go chasing the dragon on games.

It's a good change technology wise but it also mods consumers over once again.. there must be a way to allow for the port of the games.. and newsflash how the hell did you come up with the fact that consumers hold 100% of the power in that decision? Did your rocket scientist friends tell you that?

Not totally true but if the majority of potential consumers don't buy, the product will fail and die.
It will have a much shorter life at the very least.

Well it's quite annoying that if I want to play my PS2/PS3 games that I have to have 3 effing consoles connected to my effing TV to do so..
