I would say Obama has a lot to do with it. I havent followed the Trayvon Martin case, but I did follow the events that led up to the beer summit. The president jumped to the wrong conclusion, implying that race was a factor in the officers' actions.
The african american community looks to the president as a role model. When he rushes to judgement - right or wrong - they follow his lead. He has rushed to judgement twice now. He was wrong the first time. I dont yet know if he will be proven right this time around, but in the situation he finds himself in, rushing to judgement is the worst thing he could do.
How did Obama rush to judgement? Go to the text of what he said, point it out.. He didn't even acknowledge race played a role.
More importantly the African-american community knew their opinion before he said anything. If they were waiting for anything they were waiting for acknowledgement.
Obama also never mentioned race in his statement about Gates.
I know there's a lot of people invested in selling that crap to you, but its a fabrication.

No, the media manipulators know full well what they are doing. Who exactly owns and controls the MSM? Answer that objectively and then you have your next question as to why they behave this way (if you don't already know..).
These people have a long established history of pitting various groups against each other for their own gain. This isn't just media business trying to get eyeballs for advertising profits as some people prefer to think or claim that it is, it is quite a bit deeper than that. This is about being the human top dog on the planet no matter what it takes or who gets hurt in the process.
And if I'm not being clear enough, think about what nation on Earth is most infamous for creating false flag attacks. That isn't just a nation, it is the people within and behind that nation, no matter where they reside. This is a well organized and deeply entrenched ethno-supremacist war that far too many people don't realize is going on for all the other distractions thrust upon them.

The fact that Illy and I would probably agree with our opinions about 90% of the crap that is going on....isn't indicative of how we look at the other 10%.
It's the last 10% that separates the average schmoo from the Alex Jones believing zealots.
I'm fairly certain a night of dinner and drinks with Illy would be fun, informative, and enjoyable....if we didn't talk about anything political, racial, financial, or governmental.
