The way those people were acting, reminds me a LOT of pictures from earlier in American history where they had white people pose with a picture of a black person they just lynched. Back then they knew they could get away with it, which is why they posed without worrying about covering their faces. If they had cellphones with cameras on them you know they'd be posting it to their friends on Facebook and what not.
Fast forward about a hundred years, and now black people are doing really similar things. Martin Luther King must be rolling in his grave to see what the people he was trying so hard for are doing.

That article suggests that the video may have been staged, but god knows why they wanted to stage it like that.
Mountain Dew looks like your typical white suburbanite, so you know goddamned well that he has watched the entire series of The Wire. What was he thinking even putting himself in a potential situation like that, even if he was drunk.

Did you guys see the video of the black girl beat up the white girl on the soccer field? The black one thought she was tripped (when she in fact stumbled), instead of beng a good sport she turned around grabbed the white gorls hair and started punching her - all cheap shots. The white girl didnt even try to fight back.
Edit: wow just saw the vid.. That was intense and they got so much joy out f it.

That is exactly what I thought when I first saw the videos. Especially when they started dragging him around and pulling his clothes off.

It's not like he walked into the projects or something. He was from out of town and left a downtown bar. That all took place in front of the courthouse in downtown, which call me crazy but would think would have better police response.

You will never see Justice make anything of this. Fact is these guys knew they could get away with it. They knew that because they always get away with it. They get away with it because morons have decided that a black on black, black on white, black on anyone is a local issue and not news. What counts is a white on back attack, even when their is no evidence it even happend, even if the person is not white. That it might be a hate crime is all you need for our President and Justice to decide it is; even when all the evidence says it isn't.
It is the worse form of racism, right out of the 60's.
They've already identified the victim and at least one suspect, it's been on the news, and there is an ongoing investigation.

At the risk of being called a racist: Don't wander into predominantly black neighborhoods. Especially if you're white, but being black or hispanic won't help you either.
