I mean the same people who cry over and over about the incompetence of government is willing to let that same incompetent government execute people.

Seems stupid

It gets even more f'ked when the conservative is also pro-life.

Fascinating isn't it?

Pro-life is a title someone slapped on people who don't want to kill babies just like pro-choice is a title someone slapped on people who want to kill babies.

I am pro-babies, not pro-life. I am fine with the position that we shouldn't kill babies but we should kill murderers and rapists.

I don't want to see abortions outlawed. That's a personal choice. Feel free to have all the abortions you want but they are not my choice for my family.

I would, however, like to see less hung juries and more hung defendants.

That's means you're pro-choice, not pro-life, cabbywoman.

A person is usually sentenced to death by 12 of their peers, not just a government official. The people have a direct say in the matter.

In any case, though I have little concern for people on death row, it's become such an expensive and drawn out process that I'm not really sure it's worth it. What's the point of pursuing the death penalty when it could work against the prosecution (people are rightly less likely to send a man to death than life in prison given the same evidence) and there's always the possibility for a mistake which ends an innocent man's life.

That distinction you're trying to make doesn't really exist.

Those titles are pretty stupid.

Nobody is anything 100% of the time and in 100% of all cases.

Babies should get a chance.

Murderers and rapists already had theirs.

I'm not sure that's true.

You could give them the choice. That seems like the libertarian thing to do.

I would not let 12 of my so called "peers" choose what detergent I should use.. It's still the Judge that sentences you and that's the government, so you're wrong!

I like seeing people die.. it gets me off

Well Paulsie, it's not a shock that you're pro-death penalty enacted by the gov I mean you love government and think it's oh so effective and functional.

I also never said anything about humane.. It's simply the issue of wrongful execution, lock a guy up and you can release him.. Now if you kill him that's a different issue.
