I apply for several of these a year(nets me over $1K), though I'm careful not to apply for too many. Too many applications hurts your credit score and can cause an outright denial.

Make sure they don't have an annual fee or that you cancel it before the fee gets levied.

Capital One gave me 2.25% on mah auto loan

I haven't had a problem yet. Of course my limits for 2 cards are only 300 and 200. I pay them off weekly if at all possible. I try to maintain a 0 balance.

Ive had people try to hack my paypal account from china and I logged in to use it one time and it was all in chinese and they locked my account and froze it so it couldnt be used until I contacted them.

I think my bofa card gives 1 point for every dollar spent.

25000 points gives 250 dollars. If i could get 2500 for 25000 points then that would be really nice.
