I'm not sure I buy Mithan's "I just want to keep the community together!" shtick. His signature lately reads something bitter like: "I've worked here for a decade and this is the thanks I get," and you'll notice he included "They won't let me be an admin unless I'm an employee and since I'm only versed in outdated fax-machine board technology that's not looking like a real possibility" as part of his recent update. The world must seem so small from Mt. Olympus, at least until you're thrown from its gates!

I'm questioning of IGN's "free labor" rule of only bringing in volunteer mods. Moderators for major sites like this should be paid. Tricking people into working for free and having such lofty requirements in doing so is iffy stuff.
