September 1999, the year Sega came out with the Dreamcast, got my Beta ticket. Played till End of Beta world ending. Exciting sad time to leave behind the beta, when i was just getting the game and getting a level 15 toon lol omg that sucks. So excited for release. which sadly was delayed a couple days here in Canada, then went live.

Took a break in 2002 for a couple years after my g/f at the time took over the computer and played the much vaunted Archmage Lara toon. Rejoined the game with her in 2004-5 and took another hiatus till 2009 when i reentered fulltime with Feldspar. G/f has gone on to better things and so have i Married happily and still hanging in from time to time with AC, 13 yrs later.

Well, I was an advocate in beta. I'm guessing I was either early beta or end of the alpha, because I got in on a Press Pass, as I was writing a Preview of the game for an online mag. Fun times. I havent played in probably a year or two. At last I used to quit and come back for 4-5 months. Sadly, the game just can't keep my attention anymore with the outdated engine

Since beta about August 1999.

+1. Sadly, the whole Monarch and Mod gig kinda burnt me out. So, I moved on and never looked back.

Way too many changes and so far behind the progression curve to even consider making a come back now. Besides, I have so little game time anymore. This may will be 5 full years in business and we're surviving.

Funny thing - as I logged into the boards and took a ride back in history to the last PM's in my box... lol. Good lord at how many PM's I sent for Mod stuff.

Early 2000. I still remember going to the nearest game store to pick up Everquest in the guy behind the counter took like 20 minutes to convince me that AC was better.
