Early 2000. I still remember going to the nearest game store to pick up Everquest in the guy behind the counter took like 20 minutes to convince me that AC was better.
I hate that man for ruining my childhood lol.

My first character was created in April 2000...way, way before having War/Sword spec was FOTM.

My oldest char is from Oct 99 I believe. I started in beta. I am currently not playing, but I will be back  If you want to know why I am not playing - I am trying to help my wife start a New Orleans Style snoball concession next summer. If you want to friend our page on facebook it would be much appreciated. Always helps to have numbers and you can see how it goes starting a business in the middle of the great recession.

Friend that got me involved was part of beta
probably 5 years of collective time away from the game, but I keep coming back because it's just fun

I received AC for my birthday in March 2000, with Kal'Aaron being born on March 30, from my brother-in-law and I've had at least one account active ever since.
