This was the most addicting game I have ever played.
I still miss it ever few years and have come back once or twice but it's just not the same anymore. The community really made it for me years ago, it was almost like an interactive chat room.

How about a free trial for those with existing accounts? Are they still doing that?

Dang.. I was thinking they did atleast a 7 day trial for potential returners from the past..

I have been considering coming back more and more lately...with real life taking up more and more of my time, I really need something I can play on a more casual basis. Also, I miss the lore, setting and just about everything at the moment.

sometimes it just gives ya goosebumps thinking of the old days
^ That. I don't know what it is about this game, but from 00-05 I had a blast. The old subway before marketplace was around, Lugian Citadels, Glendenwood when it was FULL of people.
I started the migration process. Even if I only play once for the month I renew for it'll be worth it. To go through some of the old stuff I have, maybe run in to a few old friends and to hear the sound of that damn portal whisking you to wherever. For anything else this time might be the last time and coming back will put all the wondering about the game to an end.
Either way, Im excited.

I'm back after 6 years, I started to play back in 99/00. Stopped for a year or two, then came back right before DM got released, left again shortly thereafter and back now on MT/DT. As some posters have mentioned, what have u got to lose?, alot of folks comin back, and you never know, might get to see some old friends or make new friends again, I sure have.
