Jinjiro, I may be coming back as well. I have tried to activate account, but when I try to download patch it tells me my account subscription is not valid. So I have a feelin they may not be able to find my old account. Maybe we can make new toons once I get ahold of turbine and see whats going on.


Anyone know why their phone support is down? Been down almost 2 days now...

Pretty sure you can't activate a subscription for a non-migrated account (really old accounts from the MS days). So if you can activate the sub then the login server should be able to find it, the web site and the login server are likely connected.


Are you sure you activated it properly, the card might have failed the validation check meaning you never actually got billed for it.

I looked again and it says next bill cycle is August 7th. So I am not sure what is happening.

Last time I resubbed an account I had to talk to Turbine on the phone. As long as your old account is migrated, as indicated by previous posters, getting Turbine on the phone should get you back to good. Is their support DOWN or is it just taking forever to get off of hold? I think the last time I talked to them it took like 2.5 hours on hold.

When I call Turbine support their phone message says that the phone support is currently down for emergency maintenance. It has been like this since Wednesday afternoon and I can not contact anyone at Turbine.

I had a ton of trouble when re-subscribing a few years ago. Their phone system wouldn't work. Sure isn't a good way to attract business. In the end, persistence helped.

Funny I should come across this post. I had a dream I was literally back in the world of Dereth. Things had changed, but much had stayed the same. I jumped into a portal, killed a few Tuskers and an Oltoi or two. I pulled out my focusing stone and ...oh good times. I'm currently in the process of migrating my account, (my last login was 2004, when I was 14) and am really itching to get back into the game. I really hope Turbine can find my old account; I was only able to remember my characters name and server. My credit card has sine expired and there's no way in hell I'll remember my MSN zone account. If they can't track down the account with just the character name and server, do I have any other options? and is it too hard to reroll with the low pop on LC?

I came back a few months ago from a 2 year break and it's a blast with all the new stuff they have added. LC's population was pretty low so I went to HG and it's bumpin over there. I recommend you come back to a populated server.
