I have not played in 4ish years and was thinking of giving the old game a shot again. What is the server pop like now?

Is it worth coming back gameplay-wise, yes. However LC has one of the lower server populations. Still plenty to do, and plenty of quests being run, but sometimes it does get lonely.

The game is still a blast, and they've been adding a lot to it over the past year. So it is definetly worth coming back to.
The question is what server do you come back to. If you don't mind a lower server population then LC will be fine for you. If you are one of those who only has fun if you know there are a lot of people around, then you should go with FF, MT, or SC, in that order.

Id say yes I came back fomr a 4 year break and am loving it again, so much to learn and the devs are better than ever.

I've tried to come back a couple of times but can't get logged in even after researching the problem and tweaking everything as suggested. Thought it was a VISTA issue but I now have Windows 7 and can't get the game to work. 
I wished Turbine would revamp AC-- Upgrade graphics while leaving the gameplay the same. Also would be nice if they took out the allegiance housing (so towns may actually somewhat thrive again) and PK lite.

Myk....I would have come back myself but I was unsuccessful in retreiving my old accounts and I did not feel like restarting with ALL new toons.
Though I may still if my girl is sincere in her desire to learn these "silly games" as she used to call them.

You can be level 180 in a month without any form of macroing, depending on how old your characters are rerolling new ones won't be much different then hunting out all new gear and changing stats around on existing characters.
