I'm concerned about a trend I see going on. PC/Korial is sitting in cg advertising Free Casino and Mana Forge pulls... which might be kind of funny if it weren't for the fact that people are actually showing up and taking him up on his offer(s).

Now, we all know that through the years, this tool has rolled over so many stolen items into a fairly large 'bank roll', be it keys or MMD's, or Epics, whatever. It's fair to say, and he admits freely, that he does not own a single legitimate item in AC. Everything he has, he has either stolen, or gotten from using a stolen item.

I'm not here to name names, although I could, because the people that apparently showed up not only used their recognizable toons, but actually THANKED him in open chat, and also started advertising their pull items on trade chat... pretty amazing.

Now, as for me, I don't have to think twice about accepting a 'free' item from a thief. It's receiving stolen property, or profiting from the proceeds of stolen items. There's no ignorance here, the people there KNEW who he was and what he does, and for any that didn't, he told them BEFORE he gave them their free stuff. He admitted on cg that he immensely enjoyed them taking his 'free' stolen items, and therefore passively participating in his mental illness. The people involved are looking the other way as to what they're involving themselves in, because people are greedy by nature, but what they really don't realize is that they are empowering him to continue stealing...

What about you? Would you take free pulls from this guy? What do you think of people who do? If you saw someone in your allegiance hanging around and accepting free items from Korial, what would you do? Anything? If you're a Monarch, do you boot anyone for participating in these giveaways? I'm just curious... discuss.

I would not piss on the fire that was burning him to put it out. The guy is a POS and trash. Sadly there are a lot of people that have NO PROBLEM being associated or even dealing with the looser. Screw him the game would be much better off without his lame ass but Turbine for some reason will not ban his IP.

No. In point of fact, I was distracted with something else one night and answered a "trivia question" of his in /cg. I flatly refused to collect the proffered prize, as a matter of principle.

Lawful Evil can stand on principle every bit as easily as Lawful Good. Some people forget that.





That they're either lazy, overly opportunistic, or simply don't know any better, depending upon the person in question.





Well, it would depend on whether or not they knew. If it was some person who has been back to the game for all of three days and has no idea who Korialstrasz/Player Character is, I'd tell them. If they already knew and were doing it anyway... well frankly, I'd be disappointed with the person.





I'm an officer, not a Monarch. As to whether the participant was given a stern talking-to or ultimately booted, that would be up to Gones. As you can see from his post though, he has no patience whatsoever for Korial or his doings.

Speaking purely for myself though, I will say this -- Money really isn't hard to come by in this game, if you're willing to work for it. There is no point, purpose, or sense in stealing, beyond laziness, stupidity, and/or getting a sick thrill from taking advantage of other people. There's really no sense in abetting it either, at least imo.
