Here's what's gonna happen and it won't happen any differently: All these proposals will fail, even that person who registered dtboards.com or whatever (lol). You will all migrate to the new IGN board, because it is the natural place to go. But it won't hold the same appeal. This board is actually much better visually than the IGN boards. With all the ignore lists and petty people who will probably use them, posting will not be nearly as much fun. It will become primarily a board that deals with trades, with at least 25% less activity then there was now. Maybe as high as 50%. It will be alive, but never the same.

Might I add, the slowness of it all will make it deceptive. People will be like "I love the new boards", but just watch.
