Here is a couple guides I scavenged from people on these VN boards responding to 'how should I level' questions. You could quest your way (slow to medium), grind your way (quick to fast), or get a Power Level (very fast, but most boring and you dont learn how to play your character).

A combination of questing and grinding (find some mobs you can kill pretty quick with minimal recovery time) is a popular way to go. You just need to know which quests to stay away from! Basically, any quest that ONLY pops up a speech dialog box is to be avoided.

A correction to my above post....quests you get in the Catacombs zone are mostly done in the old 'chat dialog' box style, instead of the newer summary & reward style. Those are ok to do, but ones in Classic zones using the old 'classic' dialog box are the ones I meant for you to avoid.
