Thank you for posting an explanation of SOME of the performance issues but like others have said..what about the lag ghosting?
It really is bad, I mean bad bad bad.
As an SB it's become a joke to try and perf/cd a moving target. You perf and they just keep moving, even if using mez poison. That's if you can get the perf timing right in extreme lag which is no cake walk. You then have the choice of either following the ghost hoping it's not a ghost or staying where you initially attacked and hoping that the player "pops" up there before your next style, cd, should go off. Basically you just have to guess whether to follow the ghost or not and hope for the best since there is almost always a ghost still moving. The worst part is that when you pick wrong you end up 10' away from your enemy with a "target not in sight" msg when cd is supposed to go off and this is often a death sentence.
Having high rr sorceres, wizards, Vamps, Paladins etc.. pissed off and popping 10 feet away randomly is not good for the life expectancy of an assasin

.
When it's really laggy might as well just run around and spam anytime styles hoping for the best, using the critical strike openers are a joke. This lag is making the class unplayable during peak times. Which, incidentally are the same times we need our best styles since you gave Hibernian groups permanent stealth lore combined with speed 6 and they've taken to having vamps lead their groups around all the solo spots at warp speed as standard rp farming techniques. There's really no escape from this, it's instant death for solo assasins especially if you can't stun the vamp and at least try to get some distance before he gets loose. You know an entire realm just permanently negating the main ability of an entire archetype is stupidly stupid, but at least if it wasn't too laggy for the archetype to use their only other specialized abilities (critical strike) and they also spent 15-30 pts on vanish 2/3 they might at least, if they were lucky, escape being scooped up by speed 6 perma stealth lore stealth hunting groups a few times out of a hundred. At least a minor chance every once in a while. You have to have at least some minor chance to survive while doing what your class is supposed to do right?
Way things stand atm with the lag and having stealth being only a situational ability playing a stealther is a joke. It's no wonder so many of them are grouped up all the time. At least maybe they can get one hib before they all get rolled up.
What say you on this my friend?
