Should Hib and Mid get Alb heal procs? |
Paladin chants become AoE with croc ring, right (not sure bout that)? As do Thurgy and Minst songs/chants, right? How would you feel if the Friar Endo or Heal proc became a group chant/song and then they used Croc ring to make it AoE? Sounds too good to acctually be implemented.

Friars can activate CTR, but they don't get full use out of it (although they have no group chants to turn into an AoE, so it's moot). Paladins (and champs) can't get CTR at all.

Also there are 0 heal proc buffs in the other 2 realms all together and alb has 2 classes with this "sticky" buff.
Not really comparable, I know, but chanters do have a defensive heal proc, albeit it's a pet buff, in a fairly unused spell line.
Anyway still think this is mostly a solo/small man issue.. pally/arms with heal proc is indeed silly with huge defenses and then that proc basically negating any hits you do get passed the shield.. but there's so many silly combo's out there... ever ran into a skald+valk duo?! That's like the swiss army knife of daoc small man.. basically has it all.

I said no, and I'm a mid. So none of your poll options work for me at all.
It's not needed, can be annoying in a 1v1 fight, but you have to remember from Mythic's stand point, the game isn't for 1v1, and thus, it's not has OP as people think.

That is exactly why the two people who recommended the Friar Endo redux and Heal reactive buffs be turned into Chants did not think this through. If Friar's got that change, then they WOULD have group chants to turn into AoEs, and the CTR would be the key to overpowering the Friar in a large fight around keeps and towers.
Now, seeing as how the OP is apparently just bringing up the issue in small man/duo situations, I agree my point is not that big an issue for him. I dont small man/duo anyways, so a change to a chant would actually work great for me!

ctr can be activated on certain characters without it effecting their chants, warden being the example. friar heal proc/endo redux would do just dandy as chants, and could be altered, easily, to not be affected by ctr. it would be good for friars in the end as well since they wouldnt be shearable.
