Yes I know, but it's a pain in the ass to have to do that when I play DAOC then turn it back to levels that are fine for everything else I do with my computer when I'm done.
LaunchPad cures that pain.
It changes the brightness automatically depending on whether DAOC is active. The brightness changes as you alt-tab.

Fog would kill the action. Imagine only seeing 150 units in front of me? That means I could be 200 units away from a full group and not see them.
Something very similar to this happened a few years ago with the new halloween costumes. All the 8mans on Agramon used the "ghost" costumes because they were impossible to see. What happened to Agramon island that night? A painfully low amount of fights when the action was normally bustling. Why? Because no one could see eachother.
