Back in SI, the bracer rewards from Ogre's Might were the best you could get in Albion. People would organize the quest every few weeks or so, and zerg it down. That's been so long ago though! I remember killing the orbs, and I thought I remembered targeting something in the water below but I might be getting the encounter confused with something else.
Edit: I was looking this up online and found a treasure trove of information on old Alb encounters!

Thanks for the replies and links so far! We only had about 5-7 of us yesterday when we reached Scurceol Hyrde and the Lyft Miht's. Was the first time most of us had been in the dungeon in years and first time at that encounter.

Now i actully was a thurg last night and my pets couldnt hurt the Lyft myths at all for some reason any idea why?

They might be 100% resistant to matter damage (which is what earth pets do I think?), try bringing a body sorc for matter resist debuff? I know that works on Lich Lord Sanguis.
