PvE for a Change |
I Decided today i would try a boss in the Dungeon Of Krondon. But i cant For the life of me figure out how to kill Scurceol Hyrde. I'm Looking for Vets or Mythic Developers to help me figure out how to kill this boss. He has 4 nodes on 4 pedistals that cant be hurt. and you have to kill them first before he can be dammaged. We did Find that if you used the Surroudning Mobs they can be agroed onto the Nodes and deal dammage to them but i dont think thats the Legit way to do it.
If anyone knows the correct way to do it please post a responce  |

It's a quest mob. Maybe you can only kill the orbs if you have the quest?

It's really too bad that the "knights" and "mentors" don't have this documented down so granularly that you can pick from a slight clue to a total walkthru. Would have been a useful addition to the game.

There was never any good information about some of these places, I agree. There is only a handful around who know or remember how to ill some of these strange encounters.

Yeah, there are a few encounters I'm still clueless about. For example, the shroom mob in Hib SI:

There are dozens of encounters that are never done anymore. At least in the last few patch versions attempts have been made at improving loot tables in old encounters such as the SI "dragons".

You can try, but most people on Gaheris don't do encounters that don't have decent loot. Which Krondon doesn't

There's no special trick to killing him. You don't need to have the quest in order to hurt him. We had no problem sending theurgist pets after the Lyft Miths, killed all 4 of those, then killed Scurceol Hyrde.
Most players on Gaheris only know how to do a few specific encounters, so asking there would prove pretty fruitless.
I think we used 12 when we did him (although 6 of those were theurgs), which was probably 6-8 months ago. Heat resist debuff + DD on my enchanter worked pretty well too.
