This is misleading. You see these mega 2H Shadowblade perfs because they get a nice hit and a good crit with it.
If you were to add up an Infiltrators Mainhand and Offhand and apply a crit relative to the 2H Shadowblade then the damage works out pretty close. It's an illusion of the single damage number that the 2H weapon shows.

Case in point, here is a simple 800 perf on a caster with an Infiltrator. Could have been 1200 with a good crit.

There is no illusion any sb regardless of rr perfing for ridiculous numbers or the fact that the improvement of the nightshade spell opened a whole new dynamic to the class that's absurd. Also left axe has been improved yet again recently and other small changes including the new envenom.

If you feel that the infiltrator is sub par and/or lacking tools or the ability to do its job please leave some constructive feedback on this thread.

Please remember mythic will not base on what the mirror classes get on what the others get. So we need some fresh ideas with some info to back up why the points are always the crutch to missing things to be added.

My druid does about that kind of DPS too, go OP'd druids!

Heavy Tanks that are getting nuked down by NS are either bad or have no concept of fighting multiples..Or have really outdated templates.

lol, yeah great reasoning skills there kiddo! It's called a typo. I haven't played the Caster NS in a while so I goofed up that tiny little factoid that is absolutely irrelevant to the point of the post. I know it's too much to expect a person on VN to give the benefit of the doubt in a forum debate, and just substitute the "Body" for "Cold" and instead of arguing semantics, just argue the actual facts in the post.


There is nothing absurd about NSs nukes either, Tarel, they were always supposed to be a magic-oriented Assassin but it was always terribly implemented. Horizontal improvements are a good thing, and this nuke in absolutely no way is out of line or OPd. The old nuke before it was absurd...in that it was entirely useless. How many Caster NSs are there now? The only ones doing any damage at all are Luri's that are temped to nuke harder, and this inevitably comes with serious trade-offs. (The first being that they're Keen NSs, which are now basically obsolete otherwise. This gives them a small edge on Celts in one regard. Nerfing that absurdly minor aspect would ensure that the vast majority of Keen NSs would quit playing, re-roll Celt, etc.)


I agree that Infs need improvements, similar horizontal improvements to give them some flair (and the obvious side-stun issue), but let's lay off good changes that Mythic made to both SBs and NSs and call them OPd simply because of sour grapes that Infs got a left behind a little. Let's get Infs some boosts instead!
