Would rather have the money going back into the economy than it just being plain money sink to NPCs.
npc money sinks taking money out of the game is needed, infact in camelot its needed *ALOT* more,
without money sinks, money keeps coming into the game and never leaving, so prices of items sold between players keep going up, up, up and up some more... because everyone is constantly getting richer, never poorer...
so npc money sinks eat that money out of the econmy stabalizing it and keeping prices low
and with the current inflated rates in daoc, camelot needed alot more money sinks many years ago...
I agree DAoC needs more money sinks, but that would kill the respec. stone market.
If Mythic wanted to make the respec.s a money sink, you'd need to cap the sink at some high value, 2p, and not allow them to be traded, and most importantly stop dropping stones from mobs hence force people to use the new money sink.
Don't think that's going to happen...so they really shouldn't LOWER the current respec. costs, that would be removing a money sink that is already relatively useless, and further deflating the respec. stone market.
