hmmm.. dunno, they're blocking negative feedback here and on facebook, they wont take any feedback calls, they dont read the emails (if they did they wouldnt be making the un-needed changes), so uhm.. when a business no longer listens to its customer base and provides lets say, vinegar, when the customers want ginger ale, how long do you think it will really last.
its not an issue of one or two people complaining, its a lot of people and theyre not just complaining anymore they're leaving. and you can say that we are just QQ, but guess what, its something we pay for. some people have a higher tolerance for the mistreatment than others but eventually enough will be enough and more will leave. the reason the game is declining, is that mythic/ea still do not understand this concept. their customer service skills amount to "hi, thanks for paying ..err.. playing, and sorry we cant help send an email to this address." when you call you get even less help. of course people are upset i happen to be one of them (extremely high tolerance here).
the sad thing is that theres always someone who takes it personally when someone raises a concern or issue. as if i or someone else had personally waked into your front door and slapped your favorite puppy. if there werent so many brownie point seekers, the complaints would be larger and more often guaranteed, that and if the message boards were filled with omg what is this? instead of wow this is great please do it again, mythic/ea might actually be able to see what the complaints are. instead what they see are a bunch of people bickering amongst each other.
remember everyone is entitled to their own opinion, no matter how much you disagree with it. and when you disagree, try to put yourself in their shoes to understand where it comes from. if they seem angry, perhaps there truly is a legitimate reason.
someone referred to another as 'sheep' earlier. why be insulting? whats the point to it? to make yourself feel better? dont you have a puppy to kick for that? the fact is that if you pay for a product you have a legal right to complain to the manufacturer if something is wrong. who are you, as another consumer, to tell someone to be quiet because they're unhappy? live and let live, if someone is unhappy let them state their case, take it for what its worth and go on with your life. theres no need to start flaming others because you feel differently.

"they" mythic, isnt blocking anyone HERE ... this is vn... its not controlled by or conected to ea mythic bioware in anyway
and theres tons of negative feedback both here and on the facebook page.
but VN has always had a no tolerance policy on bashing the devs, negative feedback is okay, bashing is bad!
apparently mythic feels the same way on there facebook page... i've said negativ ethings on there facebook and i can still post on it...
maybe you should look at yourself first as to the reason you were blocked/thread locked... because its your attitude thats the problem, not negative feedback.

They've always have had a pretty thin skin. Good to see Andy back here, hope it lasts. Jacobs left in a huff a long time ago, came back for a week during the launch of War and never returned. At the time, the War boards were very civil to him, but people disagreed that the game was ready to launch (they were obviously right). So, he took his ball and went home.

[removed for moderation complaints]
the topic of this thread is a sentiment shared by hundreds of players if not much much more. the reason people feel this way is a direct result of the reasons that i've stated openly, and have been blocked for it.
nobody wanted the RA changes, there was no poll or survey, its simply being pushed on us.
instead of fixing the problems they're creating more and they apparently dont see it.
i will evaluate my own feelings and my sentiment, and re-read all of my posts and consider as to whether or not i'm to blame for the blocking. i just wish the 'powers that be' would do the same. perhaps they'd see that they're offended for no reason as well. and for the record, i've never 'bashed' any single individual dev, i've only pointed out the obvious flaws in the system. bashing or statement? obviously still a matter of viewpoint and opinion.
daoc IS dead to the producers, and everyone else involved with keeping it going as much as i can see. it started with poor customer service and earplugs.
a guy in my guild several years ago rage logged and left the game after having fallen through the floor 4 times in 15 minutes. this issue was never fixed, i still fall through the floor every time i port to my bind. its the entire point to it all. nobody is listening to the real problems, they only listen to the token few who are apparently in good favor. why else would two realms get 10 updates and one realm get 5 updates and 1 decrease.
its dead because 'they' have failed or refused to correct the real problems and have been aiming for superficial fixes.
the new patcher for instance, was supposed to speed up the process of getting into the game but instead can take nearly half an hour with high speed internet to complete.
lag was fixed, yet there are sections of water that cant be walked through without ending up magicly facing a different direction due to lag. and most players still feel the tell-tale lag 'spike' when opposing realm players are near. even with pve just yesterday i had one instance where my bd had cast 3 lifetaps but i didnt see any of them land until nearly 8 seconds after the third had been cast. my pc is supposedly top of the line (alienware). i've got a great video card, new gaming mouse with numbers on it so i dont need to reach for the top of my keyboard (yep, im lazy) , the new intel processor, overclocked (at least they claim its over clocked) with 12MB cache, and 12GB tripile channel 1600 MHz ddr3, and my internet speed is the fastest thats available without having a dedicated backbone. so i doubt sincerely that its my hardware, software or internet provider.
if the game ever had a pulse, it stopped with the third or fourth expansion. new content is great, IF the existing content has no issues. someone said they fixed lag in another post, yet part of the fixes they're working on, are lag casting.
its dead because its too little and too late. its dead because they dont listen, and soon you'll see a larger decline, when people realize that it is costing them more ra points (nearly twice more in some instances) to have the same thing they had previously. i've already done the math, on my cleric, i'll need 21 more points to have the exact same ra's that i have now (he's rr 5L9). how is that even remotely an improvement? its not like its an option. everyone knows that when ra's get changed, everyone gets wiped and has to start over, thus i have more options but will be unable to have exactly what i had before. what i had before .. just so you know, is What I Wanted. im happy with the way my ra's are specced today. regardless, soon i'll be jammed into having to redo them, again.
call me what you want, say that im QQ, i dont care. its (the un-needed changes) the reason that the game is dying. or perhaps, in truth....
already dead
