THis 5-8 second lag s&^% is UNPLAYABLE as many have stated, STOP with the GD RR5 patch S&^% until you get this garbage fixed!

Yeah I am beyond irritated by the lag now. It doesn't seem to matter what zone I am in now. I've had my ranger fire his critical shot arrow from stealth within 1/2 a second of me pressing the button. Then the target mob wanders around aimlessly in front of me like I am ghosting on it or something, then it warps behind me and attacks me through the wall.
I was ~1500 units away from a mob with no obstructions between us and I was only able to get 1 shot off on it. A couple of minutes later I was able to pincushion one with regular shots when it should have easily closed the distance and forced me into melee.
And style usage in melee is another pain with this lag.
I won't cancel yet, but they'd better do something before summer when I finish up grad school and start having time to burn.

I have bitched and complained, everyone needs to bitch about it HERE and send in appeals and flood the CSR's to death. I have been resigned to sitting at the bottom of Spind farming Alch supplies because it's impossible to do anything serious in this game right now.

the ONLY solution until mythic fixes this S&^% is for EVERYONE to cancel!
I would rather have the game go tits up than to have it die like this!

signed and agreed this lag is bad I died twice to mobs because of the lag as I moved a inch and lag
aggro'd a few mobs and killed my whole group. Not logging in until there's a patch or something to
fix it.

No, but you see revamping the RR5's are MORE important than fixing these unplayable lag issues!
EA has either cut the line bandwidth down or has cut down on hardware SO MUCH that the remaining hardware can't handle more than 1 person in an area! And even that is an adventure!
been playing almost 9 years and this is by far the worst lag ever!
edit: i was actually just in molvik, been playing all morning and it got so bad, that i was running from the mpk and then i was dead, with noone around! When i looked at the damage spam, i was hit by 4 hibs and when i died there were NONE in the area! So i did a /gc release and logged off!

The people working on lag fixes aren't the same people working on RR5 abilities in all likelihood. They aren't mutually exclusive.
