Perhaps if folks can post the issues they are having with lag in this thread, it can provide Mythic with some information. Try to be as descriptive (and civil) as you can.

Hey, we are *&$@ing Lagging our &^%es off here. You know ... it's )*&^ing lag, it means we do something and 15 seconds later the *@#! finally *&%^ing happens. How &^*%ing hard is it to understand?

I have had tons of lag issues even when there is no noticeable latency between giving commands and seeing them happen on the screen. I don't know how many times I have hit my sprint+RR5 on my eldy to get away from a tank that is still out of melee range only to have them hit charge and start meleeing me for 6 or 7 seconds before I get away from them. Same with siege, even when its just one caster outside of a tower and me alone inside... Pop my head out and start getting nuked then run down into the lord room only to get nuked 3 or 4 times after being out of los.

Have even worse issues in PvE but I can live with that.

This kind of stuff happened so many times every single time I logged on that I finally gave up and cancelled my accounts. I am waiting, not optimistically, to see if these get fixed. If they do I am sure I will be back.

Possibly related to lag: there is a memory leak in the client. I got "No memory left" warnings several times during the last weekend while DF was being zerged up, followed by crash-to-desktop. Never had that happen before, and I expect it was related to the gajillion people running around DF. (How many people were in clip range and had to have all their polygons and textures rendered?)

You people posting your ping times are lost if you have ping spikes talk to your isp. The lag in game is server side... nothing you can do one way or the other.. if one of your indicators is yellow/red..99% of time its your isp...if they all stay green and you have lag..thats the server with hiccups

I had the memory issue as well this weekend. Ive been playing since a little before SI released, and ive NEVER had a memory leak issue. This weekend, I didnt go 45 minutes without one. My uncle I was in vent with was getting the same issue.

Running 4 gigs of good ram on 64 bit win7.
