I am so happy that I have quit DAOC.

I gave DAOC 6 months during my return back to Camelot campaign thinking Mythic finally got their act together but no.
They still do not understand that DAOC was a brilliant mmporg and DAOC2 would have made more money than WAR.
Managment myopia is the casue for this.

It could also be an age thing.

Like many of us that started playing this game when we were teens, I am now 29 and work as a professional (Attorney)

Money is not an issue for me, so one day I might buy the rights to DAOC and make an FPS version
of it. I see great potential there.

hahahahha yeah, i felt the same. I made a lvl 50sorc, but when i killed a lurikeen, i was like dang, i dont feel right killing my own.

It's not even only a problem of not stacking with haste(which a spec haste/cast spd buff in enchantments spec already had), but the delve on casts isn't even accurate, and not in the good sense, of course:

My own tests, on 30s, with enchantment spec haste/casting buff(same nature as RR5 and druid haste, stacks with neither ).

Compatriot, buffed: 11 swings
Compatriot, buffed+red druid haste(/20): 14 swings
Compatriot, buffed lv.48ench haste (/50): 19swings
Compatriot, buffed RR5 haste(/50): 19 swings

Companion, buffed: 10 casts
Companion, lv.48ench-buffed(30% more spd): 13casts
Companion, RR5 buffed(100% more spd?! Wrong!): 15 casts

You may notice that the haste itself is about ok, compared to the unbuffed w/o haste situation. A little slow, but i guess that would even out if RR5/lv.48ench lasted >30s, plus we're already very close to swing cap(1.5s)
RR5 is already nerfed compared to its theoretical value, as far as caster pets are concerned:
lv.48ench buff increases casting spd by 30%, it indeed allows for 30% more casts during that period, while RR5 which is supposed to be 100% more efficient, is only 50% more.

Started as an alb. Played that for 3 years. Then moved to mid until the classic servers came out. Rolled hib on ector and since then I can't seem to bring myself to play any realm other than hib.
