Ok..so I did a little testing and the results were less than stellar. From what I can summize, the new RR5 is a dex..dex/qui buff that lasts for 30s. Tests were limited but very conclusive. Tests were conducted over a 1 minute time frame using Compatriot Pet and Companion Pet. I threw on all available buffs including haste and acuity for the hell of it.
Compatriot Pet:
Unbuffed no RR5.....Avg 16 hits
Buffed no RR5.......Avg 27 hits
Unbuffed with RR5...Avg 25 hits
Buffed with RR5.....Avg 27 hits
Companion Pet:
Unbuffed no RR5.....Avg 15 casts
Buffed no RR5.......Avg 21 casts
Unbuffed with RR5...Avg 22 casts
Buffed with RR5.....Avg 20 casts
So I think it is fairly obvious what the issue is here. If you have your pet buffed (mine is almost always buffed unless I lose one in middle of fight) you receive no benefit to the new RA. I noticed the pet resisting the RR5 when buffed...I'm currently testing to see which buff it is that's causing the resist.
IMO opinion this new RA is a fail and mythic needs to go back to the drawing board. This change is more useless than current RR5.

We all knew this was gonna happen anyway.
They should just give them Juggernaut 3 for free or some crap.

UPDATE: It is in fact a haste buff not a dex dex/qui buff.

Wow, that's just awful.
Perhaps you could /appeal with your findings, and suggest that it be implemented as celerity instead? That should stack.
Or, perhaps we could get our PvE ability implemented as free at level 50 (like the assassins all get now) and get something more useful for RvR as our RR5.

Sounds like a fair idea.. although people probably still won't put the spell on their quickbar

I suggest you test this w/ the pet fully buffed w/out the haste buff.
If that does not increase the speed then you have a REALLY legitimate complaint.
If it does increased the speeds on a buffed pet then it depends on the # of attacks.

So they made a semi-useless rr5 into an absolutely useless one? Go figure

***UPDATE***
I tested this chanter rr5 and here is what i found:
Buffed pet w/out haste buff increases the attack speeds of the pet.
So this IS working. Is it enough dunno log on and test it out then send in feedback.

"Working" and "useless" are not mutually exclusive. In any situation where I care about pet DPS, I will already have full druid buffs, and the ability as-is will do absolutely nothing.
If they changed it to celerity, it would benefit buffed and unbuffed pets the same way -- that would make it not completely useless. Even then, this should be changed to an innate class ability (or scrapped completely for an alternate RR5) -- I don't see it adding any value in RvR unless you combine it with Jugg4.

It's a useless replacement for a semi-useful RR5, total fluff this is. Least the old one had a use for towers and PvE encounters. Shame.
