With the addition of the aurulite quests in BG's, I see a lot of people leveling in them. I even found a few people to group with last night in the Lion's Den. Got to level 10 or 11 at the snakes. Plan on doing the next BG tonight if I get some time. Since the Rassa nerf, I'm not quite sure where to go to level on Mid. I haven't played much of Mid since 2002 on Mordred.

BG quests hands down. Hopefully they get on the ball and finish them up through leirvik. Braemar in the next patch

yes people stil level, in my 8 years i have leveled MANY characters from 1-50 solo!
not that hard to do anymore, make sure you stop in the bg's on the way, really is worth it!

Because part of the fun of this game was leveling up and keeping those friends that you made along the way, and you know learning how to play the class you're leveling. Something a lot of people never, ever did.

Nah part of the fun is playing the game for what is meant to be played. Killing the enemy.

We have all "our own truths". 
But can be just as fun, or even more fun at times, to pvp in the BG's - and the exp is fast(and yeah, even more so with the new quests in there).
Leveled alot in the BG's last yeah, on new chars, 95% the times I'm there, there's usually several people to play with.

Only toons I PL are bots, other than that I always level the sort of old fashion way but I almost never group.

Leveling 1-50, even solo, is incredibly easy now. Even if you're brand new or restarting from scratch.
What isn't particularly easy or fast under either of those scenarios is gaining all the scales and glass you're going to need. That is where the grind is if you're new or beginning all over again.
