Well someone cheating impacts their ability to have fun, so he's got a right to care about cheaters. That being said, trying to be e-tough on a message board and make fun of someone is pretty lame too, so...yeah. No better then the OP.

As far as I know, cheaters and noncheaters alike, mythic/eA or whatever it it, has never deleted an account to this day, but they also haven't let banned accounts back in.

I think your logic is a bit derailed. This is an MMO, we got to play together, and cheaters have a negative impact on the entire community. And there is no beating around the bush that cheating is bad and can drive players away from the game. To me it would be silly to not care about people cheating.
That said, I think losing an account is sufficient. If someone wants to create a new account, try to redeem themselves and play properly, then welcome back. But what they did in the past can't be undone, and neither should their ban.
