IPs are not unique per person, they change constantly, and some people are behind proxies or shared IPs ... (most aol users share with up to 100 other aol users) and then theres ipv4 -> ipv6 gateway... if someone is using ipv4 and the target end (mythic) runs ipv4... mythic would only see the ipv4-ipv6 gateway... so banning the address will ban all users of ipv6 from that ISP.... if someone bans my ip address.. i'll just rotate to one of my others (i have 1 dynamic, 4 static) or i'd just release the dynamic one and let comcast re-asign me a new one... either way.... ip bans are pointless.. they dont realy ban anyone... and they have the potential to cause massive collatoral damages... one of the big IRC networks accidently IP banned all of canada once.. it was hilarious.... -----signature----- -=no pity for the majority=-

	Whats wrong with cheaters coming back? It's not like the software works anymore so they wouldn't be able to use it.
