Elds should never have had a mez to begin with. It should've went to ments, but now I'd advocate giving it to chanters.
As for increasing the duration, the suggestion is ludicrous, especially because you want only the hib secondary ae mez class to benefit.

Another stupid post but I'll agree with Vyx, Hib is on the really short dirty end of the stick as far as pet imbalance goes.

Don't Theurg's already have a cap? 16 iirc which is why their rr5 can sometimes fail to fire.
If your group is letting a theurg getting that many pets out then it doesn't matter if it's a theurg or a free nuking caster - you're boned.
Hibs may have the sh***y end of the stick for pets but it's their debuff combos that really make me cry  . Chanter is no where near s good as a runie let alone the cabbie. Void eld is the weakest eld of the lot but it can make a body train tick - but it's not really all that.

The best in theu case would be to get rid of the quickcast pet possibility. Even wi getting rupt on the Theu he can fire one pet for free on boltrange
Or decrease the Range of Pets to 1000 Units.

If you guys want to nerf theurgs, give alb tanks a boost in exchange. They aren't necessarily weak, but they simply don't come close to most mid counterparts in group performance, and while most hib tanks are on the same level as alb ones, vamps alone give them a big advantage.
By the way, to the guy who said most groups have an AE mezzing theurg... wut?

I don't think the Alb Tanks need a "boost". Albs have too good Casting Chars, they do very good dmg even without using Debuff Duo like Hib ench/eld or mid RM/SM. Why playing tank with more work in the middle of an inc when you can bolt bolt dd dd any enemy away ( okay i asume that there are albs who manage to assist each other - i seen lot of 3 fire wizz groups where everyone nukes a single target without assist)
The earth/wind theu is even more nasty than a good played shaman imo - pets are fire&forget have good speed do a fair damage.
If they are wind specc ( i wouldn't play wind main specc in grp rvr personally) they have a nice spec dd and the aoe mezz with moderate duration time - AND stun pets who ignore any stuntimer and can make any fight very short.
Maybe they should take away the Quickcast on theu and leave the rest as it is. If there would a decrease of the petlimit like animist - albs would run with 2+ theus i think

Didn't say anything about pet spam. Hib groups are very lacking when it comes to pets compared to Mid or Alb.
