Haven't played in a few years. I'm just trying to find out how i go about getting the dragonslayer armor and weapons. I saw a little something about it on allakhazam and was a little confused. The only quests i need to do are:

Battles in the Mist
Yar the firstborn
-what are mini dragons?

Any help would be appreciated

Not done it in a while since I only play hib now but you get a quest from the bindstone in Svarhamr which will gives you neutral faction to the mobs in the town when complete

Then you need to run the repeatable quest provided in order to get friendly. Once you get friendly you can port from the town etc.

Then you do Battles in the mist, yar and then the mini dragons.

The mini dragons are basically 4 dragons each at different parts of the zone you kill.

Then you get the option of the big dragon iirc.

It's not something I do anymore because you can actually buy armor tokens from Jordheim. Each mob in the dragon zone now drops Dragon Scales which are a form of currency used to buy different dragon loot items from the NPC in Jordheim. You can buy credit tokens for the slayer armor/weapons with these.

Most people farm the scales since it's quicker and easier these days.

I'd just farm glass unless you knew you had people who'd help you do minis. You have to do the big 3 I believe for the weapons, iirc. With glass you can skip all these quests/dragons and just get your stuff right away.

You can't buy the armor tokens with glass anymore. Not that I know of at least. If you can, I'm missing out on lots of dragon armor. Lol

Ty for the info. I was hoping it could be done with a solo zerker..ive seen the dragon armor guy. I wish I could glass I guess they realized it was too easy. What is the best spot to get scales solo..or all of them about the same..

I find it easiest to just destroy the zillions of low con mobs in the dragon zones. I'm not sure if that'd yield the best drop rates or scales per hour or whatever, but the gratification of just exploding mobs non-stop makes me fel more productive

Farm the green / blue con mobs in the dragon zone for scales. I had to farm 1500 or so for my BD temp which took a few evenings. It goes quite quick from memory. Remember the dragon vendor in the captital cities also sells dragon zone drops such as cloth cap / dragonscale bracelet etc i.e. not just slayer armour / weaps

Can anyone help me out, I have collected 300 or so scales and when I go to the dragon vender in home city he sells lots of armor... but near last item is Draconic Essence Stone..... are these what I should be buying? I am kinda confused what to actually do at this point. Is this vender all there is? Does this stone give another piece of armor? I dont have to do all the giant quest thing?

You have to buy the stone at the vendor in Jorheim and trade it in at the Dragonslayer Journeyman in Svarhamr for a piece of armor or a weapon (the cheaper white stone for armor, the more expensive red one for the weapon). Thus you can completely ignore the quests. Only thing you have to do is the "Common Ground" quest, which you get at the bindstone outside Svarhamr to get neutral faction with the svartalf to be able to enter Svarhamr and to get to the Dragonslayer Journeyman. But this is quickly done in about five minutes (kill 3 Drakluv missionaries).
