Sure! Now tell us why one should be legal in the game and the other should not.

So why are buff bots legal?
It's a char sitting there, providing tangible benefits with zero input from the user, be he/she playing another char or going afk altogether.

technicaly... they arent legal...

theres an inactivity timer if the character in question doesnt preform some action every 10-15 minutes they will disconnect...

so if a buff bot is standing there and noone is monitoring it... then it will either disconnect or they are using software macros to preform actions to keep them active wich is a violation of the TOS/EULA...

mythic doesnt enforce the TOS/EULA nearly enough these days because they have very limited staff for DAoC

I will not speak to the rationale Mythic uses to make policy decisions with regard to the ToS. Instead, I will comment here that in this area, a "Craft all" button in my opinion, makes sense.

In this application I believe a craft all button will help by giving a long requested option to players and it will help to eliminate the use of third party crafting programs.

You have gotten all the response needed already. It is not my fault your troll brain cant process it.

OK...so, your reasoning amounts to "Because I don't want to put in the effort to gain the skill. I should get something for nothing merely because I want it."

They have games that provide that, they are called first person shooters.

I have yet to see any reason about "why" such a change is warranted. The only reason that I can see is that because people do not want to do the work to achieve the reward.

And you're still not telling anyone why you think that this is a good idea or how the benefit would outweigh the detriment to the systems that are currently in place.

You keep calling me a troll, but I am a game developer, and I am honestly interested in your logic behind this.

This is a bad idea, that's all there is to it.

If you don't want to do the work required to be a crafter, pay someone else to craft things for you. Until you get to about 20-30 level 50's, it'll cost you less to pay for crafting than to do it yourself, unless you just like crafting.

I support the craft all option for the following reasons:

1. It is not a mandatory option.

2. It will offer players a certain increased measure of convenience.

3. It will not impact PvP directly.

4. It should be a fairly simple code to create. (Its in other games and has been for years)

5. The mechanics of it may open other options with inventory.

6. It should help to reduce the frequency of third party programs being used, at least with regard to crafting.

The Cons:

1. Current LGMs may feel their contribution to the game and level of commitment to crafting is being devalued.

2. It will allow for more crafters to reach higher levels of crafting easier. (Yes I consider making it easier to reach a highest level a con in most situations)

As to Con number one: I do not believe that a craft all button is going to make that many current lgm crafters feel genuinely slighted or devalued.

As a side note I am somewhat undecided about suggesting that the Craft all mechanic somehow be assigned to become available after reaching a certain plateau along the way to LGM. IE: At SC 750 a player "unlocks" the craft all option thus making the journey from 751 to LGM and post LGM crafting work less labor intensive for them.
