Still need help, nothing is working :(
Hi all, I posted a topic before with this problem:
"I am having a problem getting into game. When I click on "play" after I select my server, The screen goes black, and SOMETIMES, I will have to CTRL+ALT+DEL to get Task Manager up, and end the game task. Then I will try again, and see if I get the game to play. SOMETIMES It will let me choose my realm, and my player, and after I choose the realm and player, it will go black as if it is about to load, but it does not load. No sound, no nothing, I am forced to CTRL+ALT+DELETE, to bring up the task manager again.
Here are my system specs:
OS: Windows 7 (64bit)
VIDEO: ATI 5770 HAWK (1GB of video memory) X2 connected SLI
MEMORY: 8GB (4 sticks)
Intel i7 950 @ 3.07GHZ
When I started having this problem I thought that it could be the video drivers, so, I rolled back the drivers, and got the same results. So, I updated the drivers to the newest version, got the same results. I also tried changing the screen resolutions, still, no good!
I also have a back up video card (NVIDIA GT 220 1GB video MEM) so I tried using that one. I got the same results, did rollback drivers, got the same results, did update newest drivers, got the same results, changed resolutions no good.
So, I tried something else. I completely uninstalled DAOC, and re-installed it. I would STILL get the same results. So I said ok, maybe its a glitch in the OS, so I formatted my hard drive, did a brand spanking new install on the OS, a brand new install of the game, and I got the same results. As far as I know, NOTHING is wrong with my system.
The only way I can get the game to work, is if I keep CTRL+ALT+DELing, until I finally get in game, which usually takes bout 10-20 times (Last time I played it took my 17 times)
I also checked firewall settings, everything is good. I am a tech guy, and I am completely stumped!
When I do get in game, I asked around and a few of the people I play with that that they have the same problem. So this leaves me to believe it may not be something wrong with my system.
Please, any input guys? HELP!"

UPDATE
----------------------------------------------------------
I would like to add to the list of things that I have done to try to remedy this problem, which are as follows...
1)I have done a complete reinstall of my OS (Windows 7)
2)I have tried running the program as admin
3)I have tried using different video cards
4)Tried changing screen resolution
5)Tested my memory for any faults with Memtest86+ (everything is ok)
6)Tried reinstalling DAOC
7)Updated every driver to it's newest driver to include, audio, video, motherboard
8)Tried Windowed mode
9)Tried deleting the lines or error in the debug file
10)Tried running the game in compatibility mode for all OS'
11)Tried Defrag
12)Updated DirectX
13)Called Tech Support
I am complete stuck, I don't know what the hell to do anymore and this is really getting on my nerves. Everything I tried doesn't work, and I need some serious advice on this. Feedback would be greatly appreciated.
I am not even sure if the DAoC is compatible with my system. When I run other games, I don't have ANY problems, it's JUST DAOC that gives me these problems, is there anything that I am missing?

I have a similiar system like yours...Running the i7 965 and 12gb of ram, but, im running an nvidia 450 as well...I haven't had any issues like that happen before. It seems you have tried every troubleshooting possible. Have you tried reinstalling Windows completely? I know not everyone likes hearing that, but, its one thing I don't see that you have tried yet.

What antivirus are you running?
When you say that you reinstalled the OS, does that mean from a provided restore disk or from a Microsoft Windows install disk?

When I say reinstalled, that means I set my primary boot to boot from CD, Format the drive for a clean install using the CD straight from Microsoft's press (Genuine) and I install.
For Antivirus, I am running Webroot Internet Security Essentials. Checked the rules for game.dll as well as the actual launcher and they all are correct.

Had a similar problem with my Sabertooth X58 (920/2.6GHz)and ended up having to reduce installed memory from 12GB Corsair XMS (6X2GB) to 6GB (3X2GB)Kingston HyperX. Haven't tried bumping back up to 12GB of Kingston, since everything is running stable at 6GB. If you have spare memory laying around, try swapping out and running different combinations.
