I know there was at some point maybe 300k daoc players in its prime.....
Does that not constitute a sequel????
Oh wait its EA Mythic now.... sports MMO Hybrid inc!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And isnt Bioware doing the new SW game?

Daoc 2 would suck... Id rather just play daoc1. Dont want to know what it's like to raid an instanced Spraggons den.

All of the problems with DAoC can be directly tracked back to MJ, not back to EA or Bioware.
About the only thing that EA is guilty of is being gullible enough to believe MJ and in being clueless enough so as to not realize the stupidity of MJ. EA is guilty of believing the drivel spewed from MJ and then dumping huge funds into Mythic.

YES. MJ caused the problems. Too bad firor couldn't fix all his mistakes.

DAoC2 is the perfect answer to the ever-expanding PvP market's problem of... Not having any good, modern PvP games to play. The companies with the money are just too shortsighted to understand that no WoW clone is going to net them a significant share of the MMO market. WoW does WoW better than anyone else ever will.

Has MANY aspects of DAoC + UO etc... Looks like an epic sandbox pvp game. Their goal is to unite the fragmented mmo world apart from WoW. Let's hope they succeed.

dunno if the game has any potential. it died for me when i looked at those androgynous toons with their ugly as hell manga haircuts. /puke
