and I haven't engaged in 50 rvr in some time. But I've never witnessed MASSIVE damage from a skald. The only time I've ever seen skalds wreck people with melee damage was at low levels as a Troll with 100 base str. That's a huge advantage at low levels that gets eavened out at lvl 50.
Change your race, change your class. Get some better jewlry, spell craft some custom gear. Get a group.
ANYTHING
except boosting your particular class so it is strong enough to overcome YOUR weaknesses.

Minst don't kite anymore in Thid, they dmg until time to mez which IS uninterruptable, then they heal, get positional on your and with pet just melee you down. Those yellow pets are hitting in the 50s usually...

I think you mistake me. I don't like it, not one bit. it is what it is though, and mythic has always said they will not balance around the battlegrounds.
We as old players who've grown up with the game and understand and accept it's foibles might be prepared to accept this stance. But in light of Mythic's direction of providing for new players that we saw expressed in recent patches and letters, I think they would be somewhat shortsighted to not at least look at some of the over-the-top classes in the BGs, because a new player won't accept it.

I don't play a Thid minstrel anymore, but I won't accept them getting nerfed until they take a long hard look at BDs and warlocks

BD and Lock can at least be interrupted and do not have the hitpoints to survive until their pets can do you in, Minst on the other hand can take enough dmg until one of their iWin buttons are up or their outdmg you with pet, 2 insta DD and melee...
Folks there is a reason 50% of albs in Thid at least are running a Minst....
