when i try to resub it says they can't perform transactions to this CC... it has worked over the past 5 years though

If possible I wouldn't use a debit card; I'd either buy time via the EA store or use a credit card. Mythic had a billing fiasco not too long ago and there is much more protection via a credit card than there is for a debit card. Also, they can't over-charge or renew your account without permission if you are using time cards.

I had the same problem... several calls to support did not help. Best solution for now is to go to origin.com and type "dark age" in the search box at top of page. That will get you to daoc time cards. After purchase, just cut and paste the code it gives you into the redem code box in acct mgmt.

Lenghty conversation with CSR reveals that EA has phased out Mastercard and Discover card (debit or credit)... It seems they have had many multiple problems with people using stolen credit cards to purchase game time cards. They suggest you purchase the cards now because in the not too far future they will not accept MC or Disc in the purchase of the game cards even, ugh.

This is a problem for me because I only have MC and really dont want more credit cards lol.

thanks for the info... all i use is a MC debit card i am not gonna get a credit card just to play a video game, i think they're trying to force ppl to quit with all these weird and unnecessary changes so they can cancel DAOC for good
