Arite!
I seem to not get everything bout the haste n stuff nowadays, in my head there are:
Haste pots (17%?) that you can get from alchemists w/ 9 charges per pot.
Hastebuff from bot (druid/healer/theur?) 20% haste
These two does not stack with eachother
Now i heard there are celerity-charges, does these stack with any of the previously mentioned ones? Are they short-duration (ie 30 sec celerity?) How high a speedincrease are they?
I read someone saying they keep 7 shields w/e celerity-charges on in their backpack, but it didnt make sense to me, since i didnt get the concept to start with.
And last question: Does the celerity (from any item i can get it on i guess) stack w/ my savage self-celerity. (Im playing a savage, thus the question.)
Okay this got a little cut up and not finetuned, but i guess you'll get the picture and might straight it out for me.
Cheers!

Actually, celerity charges are 17%, last for 5mins, and have a 3min re-use timer. These charges are great, but they do have one or two drawbacks. You will not be able to use any artifact charges for 3mins after you use a celerity charge (shared re-use timer). Also, you need to combine the celerity charges to an item (armor/weapon) and you must equip this item when you want to use it. On a hero or blademaster, it is ideal to use low level shortbows for this purpose, since you dont use the ranged slot anyway. This way you only need to swap the bow when it is out of charges. Most classes will have to equip the item, use a celerity charge, and then swap back to normal item.
The number of celerity charges depends on the quality of the item. 100% is 10 charges, 99% is only 7 charges. This is why you want to use a low level 100% quality item. It's too expensive to use an armor piece in your template, because you want to carry backup items with celerity charges (so you don't have to re-charge constantly).
The savage ability is a haste and will stack with any kind of celerity, ie charges, weapon procs, or healer celerity spell.
edit: celerity charges are affected by duration bonus. Personally, I'm a sucker for duration templates even on most melee characters (especially a savage if I played one), but you will obviously need to sacrifice a few stats here and there, plus you need to find a nice rog (unique) item or two with duration bonus.

Can anyone second this last part? The only thing i HAVE noticed is that i cannot use my savage-haste when a healer drops his haste on me (not celerity, haste) If this is true (as previous poster said otherwise) i think i have an evening of getting a few mp-things to carry around for celerity :-)
Thank's for your input guys!

So, what is the difference between haste and celerity?

There's no difference, but since they stack you want to use one of each. Celerity used to be a rare ability available to very few classes, but has later on been added to quite a few classes one way or another, and ultimately (with charges and weapon procs) it has become available to anyone.

celerity you have to have from an alch or procs on weapons. Personally if you're playing any tank class outside of savage you should use celerity to cap your swing speed. However, it has to be crafted on a piece of armor like stated above and recharged through an alchemist with 886 or higher.

So haste makes me swing faster and so does celerity. What happens if I use haste without celerity or celerity without haste?
