I'm certain that I'll get into it for a month and realize I no longer love the game. The thing is, I just finished 30 applications, about to submit a publication manuscript, and just waiting for interviews. I can only exercise for so many hours a day until I'm exhausted. It's strange to not be busy. I honestly have no idea how I'll pass the time. Maybe I'll just sign up for classes at the local community college. Learning some business law could definitely be helpful in the future.

It'll be the strangest thing if I interview with a fellow DAOC player. What are the odds of that?

I think I'll reactivate for a couple weeks and play a thid sorc. I think I can still outmezz the competition. How's the action in there? I would imagine it must be fairly lively....

I've personally played while doing my major and had no issues with my grades.

It all depends if you are disciplined enough to know when to game and when not to.
If you want to give it a shot, I'd say go for it. You are most likely eligible for the Returning players free-time.

There are no games like Camelot.

Don't start up again. I'm in my 3rd year of lawschool and my wife is in her 4th year of medical school...the first year of professional school is by far the most difficult because people have to adjust to competing against people who are smarter than they have ever been in school with. Along with learning how best you retain and study information...it is going to be a massive amount of memorization for you. You won't have time if you really want to keep your options open for residency. I'd say after your Step 1 USMLE and maybe in your 3rd year you'll have a decent amount of free time. Until then I'd choose other options of relieving stress such as working out or boxing because you're gonna need it. DAOC doesn't relieve stress that way...

What's the game like now-a-days? What's new? Good..bad? Anything..?

It's not worth risking your grades and thus career because med school requires most students to study about 70 hours per week.

Don't play, study, i did the first and lost time.

Forget this game. Glory days are long gone.

Just keep the memories of old school DAoC as they are the best you'll have.
