IMO this is how they should do it.

Get rid of housing.

Have vaults in which you are able to give certain people (accounts, or characters) access to.

And then, put a 'bank' in the main city, with a bunch of consignment merchants, and let people pay the bank 1p for the right to use a consignment merchant and list their items. Obviously you only have a few consignment merchants, which everyone uses, rather than thousands of them. But I think this would be great. There would be no more Ywain1-10 housing stuff, and the capital cities would once again become the trading centre of the game, since there will be 30-40 people browsing consignment merchants, a ton more people doing their crafting. Not only could you sell stuff on a CM, but you could just use region as well.

I know Mythic is light on resources, but any workarounds would be useful.

- Ywain to Ywain transfers.
- Allow players to bind anywhere outside in the housing zone, which would become your housing bind point.
- Turn consignment merchants into fully usable teleporters instead of relying on scrolls.

Do I detect another Harry Harrison fan?

House bind seems to get lost if you bind your toon (that's not on the same server as the house) into different place.


Sometimes it seems to get lost also if your toon switches servers to go buy stuff in housing...
