How does 10% magic damage and 10% spell pierce add up to 23% more damage in poisons?
Hey genius, how about this, Point blank is a 3 sec spell and so is the nightshade nuke.

Keep in mind that this is a result of the upgrades and how those work in relation to how the old system worked. Now they have to come up with some other system or workaround I'm sure. But hey, this is VN so no matter what anyone says, it won't keep people from being phallic craniums.

I get what you are saying but understand, some of us have IT careers and work with programmers everyday. I assure you this is nonsense. It does not take that long. Its a matter of choice. They chose not to do it.

I get that you have to shill for your free game account, but don't turn this around like it's a people on VN at fault issue, the new bows were released onto the test server bugged, like others I reported them bugged, nine months later they are still bugged and we get second hand non-promises and called dickheads.

As a programmer myself I can only say that the truth, as always, lies in between the extremes here. While it's somewhat unlikely that this is a huge problem to fix --or lets say that simply shouldn't be the case in a good software system-- it's also far from impossible that there are issues keeping such a fix from being simple or quick and most importantly without significant risk. This is an old old code-base that is frequently patched by more different programmers then even Mythic can keep count of at this point I imagine. I shudder to think what this code looks like, much less how stable any changes to it are. Considering that many times completely unrelated things simply seem to break when Mythic makes changes/fixes/enhancements, we can gather that it ain't a pretty sight.

Hah yeah. I'm a programmer too at a small games studio and I cam imagine exactly that.
I had a request from a publisher the other day to change all of the British Pound signs in a game to Euro symbols. He thought it was just a matter of replacing a line of code. In reality it wasn't anywhere near as simple as he originally thought and after imforming him of this it was struck off the 'Todo' list for the time being.
