Version G - 3 - 182

February 20, 2006

Changes

Removed Unclosable Abilities Window Fix

This should address some problems with the infamous unclosable Abilities window.

Taller Map Window Height Fix

Mythic added two zones to the map window which caused Hadrians Wall to be unclickable. The map window is now taller so you can click on Hadrian's Wall.

I have a really cool idea I think, I have no idea about XML though and I have been using your UI for probably close to a year so I thought I'd run it by you. I play a NS and it would be really amazingly helpful if there was a window with the 3 weapon slots + inventory slots and one slot where you could do a general drop like what happens when you drop items on your character in the inventory window. Just so I could close my stupid window and not block so much of my screen when swapping weapons.

Might be impossible, but it would be incredibly helpful for assassins if it wasn't.

hey TheTK,

i really love your UI. After taking a long hiatus away from the game playing it with your UI makes it so much easier with all the new changes that has been made over the past 6 months. However, for some odd reason my compass doesn't show up in your UI. I think i'm missing files but i have no experience on HTML stuff. what should files should i be looking for to make sure the compass works for the UI?

thanks for help

Impossible is correct.

I would:

Go to your custom folder, cut compass.xml and paste it to your desktop or some other place.

Run the game, Bring up the old-school compass.

Paste the compass.xml file back to the custom folder.

Alt+tab back into the game and zone to another area or dungeon.

one thing that i usually modify my self, but you (and other people) may find useful is in the mini map, change the white dot that represents you. Basically take the white ring off of it (although i change mine to red) and that way it allows a better guestimation of how close you are to your group mates (when playing stealthers mostly).

hope that made sence. I am VERY tired

a minor request, is it possible you can add a choice of compass in the Ghost customization webpage (when u run the .exe to customize). The circle compass that comes by default is pretty but for myself the default side scroll kind is a faster read.

I completely second that request. Having a few compass options would be nice, although really their are only two serious options. Standard and Circle.
