Reading whines about assassins make me giggle
But then one of the main reason people play assassin classes is because they enjoy how much they can p*** off other players, so I am not surprised to hear you (and others who play assassins) laughing at it.
Personally I have an SB and a Hunter, and I like playing them, but I can understand easily how people have a hate on for them, given the number of times I get ganked by teams of assassins - and I am unable to do anything to stop it. Mostly its teams of Nightshades now of course, since they are the most OPed stealther class IMHO.
The only thing about a survey like this is that the end result is a lot more people rolling up the class that is seen as the most overpowered, so its kind of counterproductive - unless the OP was trying to figure out what to roll up as a new toon of course.
IMHO of course there is nothing wrong with nerfs to any class. Balance is achieved by adjusting values, be it positive or negative. The game has already had far too much positive improvements across the board in some areas. Look at the speed of melee combat for instance. Look at the incredible boosts from RAs and equipment. Now contemplate coming to the game as a newbie and losing every single time you play because you don't know what you need, can't afford it, and don't have the RAs to even have a chance at competing. I bet people leave in droves over that. "Fun game but if you haven't been playing it for 5 years, you are SOL" etc.
All the result of continuously improving the stats on equipment with each new expansion so that people have an incentive to buy the new expansion and get the new equipment etc.

Wl: fixed cast time 2.5sec to 5 sec, or ruptable casts no 24/4 moc any more.
5 sec for pbaoe .. instant ae stunn from healers 3 wl non ruptable wls with pbaoe bad ..
Wizards: reduce Bold Damage or incrase Eld Bold Damage (9sec Base Stunn with resis only 4 sec) is since TOA (Charge, AoM, Det...) no argument for any patching or balance issue.
Valkyre: no rupt from level 5 - 10- 15 .... frontal dd pulse only 45 +.
Minstrel: only orange pets as cap level ~52, release pet from cc with stop charming puls for a moment gives full aggro on the minstrel with no chance of recharm the pet.
Theurgist: pet cap at 5 cast range reduce to 1000 locs (moving pets, with no range cap).
Bonedancer: the pets assist only the Commander every time.

Voted Assasins however....
Wizard bolts are ridiculous ( I have a rr 6 Wiz), I think Runemaster bolts are balanced at the 319 Delve, so nerf Wiz bolt to 319 and boost Eld Void bolt from 309 to 319.

Do you use stealth? If you do he still has an argument. Every other character in the game you can see coming/that they are there, any stealth class you can not.

No classes are really out of control imo.
- Zerker/skald/minstrel/theurg rr5s need a slight adjustment. Zerker rr5 does too many beneficial things; skald rr5 should have an animation and shouldn't stop melee-based CC; radius on minstrel rr5 is a bit too high, and the recast is too short; theurgist rr5 shouldn't stun through charge.
- Releasing minstrel pets shouldn't break CC on the pet.

i play mid/hib , necro is the class i find annoying.
I mean even of you seem like winning.. What they do is start running away.. by the time u actually kill the pet ... the real guy is miles away (if ur solo)...
OR
you kill the pet alone.. and %5 healthed inconnu gets attacked by anybody else other than you. You dont get rps... Thats like insult on ur mom .. lol
anyway,
overall balance in this game is very weird..
first they release a character or buff one up that it gets so OP, lots of people play that. or the ones dont play it. regret fighting them such as wardens / Valks / necro's / stealthers .. every class had their turn, where u'd get ur ars kicked. And than all of a sudden they nerf the zhit out of it.
Now show me how many people play wardens anymore ? or Valks (before they upgraded stuff on spear etc) ?
Cheers!
