jojo, i haven't actually tested it but i'm pretty sure that the NF buff npc's are not the same, I don't think you can get the buffs and then port out of NF and still have them, but feel free to prove me wrong.
Howj, it's not that simple. I'm sure they could do this but it clearly takes a lot more work, there are many other things to consider. First of all, specline buff shears aren't the only buff shears that exist, so now you have to change all of the proc buff shears, or random buff shears now have to either randomly take away a buff or randomly have a stat debuff. And then you have to consider that a buffer class can instantly 'cure' someone from a buff shear by rebuffing them.
I don't think I need to go into more detail, but I'm once again making the point that its about 20x easier to take the existing buff npc's and allow characters to summon them for just enough time to buy some buffs and then have them disappear.

You can get buffs in NF and then port out of NF and still have them... ran a few td's on a lvl 50 toon last night with buffs from NF.

(Notice my mouse hoovering over the one buff to show its name as a realm buff, and notice my toon is level 50 so I can't enter a BG)

This "keeping NF buffs when porting" is new, I think. You were not able to do that a couple of patches ago, I'm quite sure.Pretty nice IMO ...

And delete the buff lines of Clerics, Druids, and Shamen.
