" It did at launch, in vanilla Daoc. My first character to 50 was a Hero and it took him around 30 days /played to get there. I have a screenie somewhere that confirms it. It wasn't because he solo'd or anything, in fact he was main tank for a regular guild group and when not doing that duo'd with various classes. It's just how things were back in vanilla, the levelling was very slow. Partly this was how the game was paced and partly it's because everyone was undergeared. Everything changed when SI was launched. "

No, it wasn't. If you took 35 days to hit 50, you probably spent a lot of time smelling the roses and doing other things. If you focused on leveling you could have very easily done it in under 10 days. I did it in under 10 days and I played classes who had trouble finding groups and couldn't solo all that well. I played this game from launch up until shortly after ToA was released. A screenshot of you taking that long to level proves nothing except for it taking YOU that long to hit 50.

Because hitting 50 was the only thing that mattered back in 2001/2002. Who cares how long it exactly took. It took LONGER because it wasn't easy mode like it has been in this game for the last 4 years. Idiots need to relax and put their peens back in their pants.
