I'm sick of people spamming region "LFG for free pl" or "Can anyone give me 10p" and stuff like that. I do tend to help out people that are new but it came to the point that the advice channel was so filled with asshats that I just turn it off right away on all my new toons and all my 50's too. I don't mind helping one bit, but there comes a time that some people have to actually get out and explore on their own. I am pretty sure I know all of mid/hib like the back of my hand. This includes classic/si/toa/cata/laby zones. This is not because someone told me about it but because I went out and explored solo or in small groups. Alb I am still learning since I only had a few toons there.

Also, there is a difference in asking for help and expecting you deserve help while being an assclown...

I understand you're sick of beggars. I'm just say to be nice to those asking legitimate questions. The new comers aren't playing an MMO for the first time. They are coming from WoW and WaR where the mechanics and action responses are instant. Where the UI tells them everything. I love DAOC, but going from WoW to DAOC is like going from a motorcycle to a moped. It takes time to get used to everything. So when questions are asked, don't chew their head off.
